Dane Cook says choppy sentences loudly. Sometimes he says them very loudly. I don’t find much of that funny, especially his earlier bits about things like The Kool-aid Man.
But some of his more self-deprecating pieces are funny (and don’t even need to be loud or choppy). My friends and I will even occasionally phone or IM each other just to say “you did your best”. White people like to drop pop-culture references in the middle of conversations to show how hip we are.
