The following is a typical college conservation:
“Hey Mike.”
“Yeah?”
“When’s that paper due for English?”
“Ummm… today.”
“Ha, I haven’t even started.”

The art of procrastination in college students has always been extremely prevalent. Heck, it’s in their nature to procrastinate… it’s their lifestyle. College people would much rather be doing fun things than writing a paper or studying.
College people like to procrastinate because it makes them “feel” smarter. In other words, when a college student writes a paper at 3:00 am in the morning and still gets an A on it, they think to themselves “wow, I must be smart, because I was able to pull that paper off in very little time and preparation, but I still got a perfect score.”
College people love instant gratification and procrastination satisfies that need. It’s like a craving that they can’t resist. Procrastination is evidence of human nature, and that college people aren’t always these perfect little students.
Haha, story of my life.

I think this entry was awesome, actually. I *totally* got a rush whenever I pulled off an A after ridiculous procrastination!
